imckinnon
I have a stick of CM74CD1024RLP-2100/S RAM that had been working for three years in one of my servers. Recently the server stopped recognizing it. The server is on an APC UPS so the power is spike protected (first thing I thought of). Since it has been working for so long, and then suddenly stopped, the only thing I can think of is that it expired and went to silicon heaven. :sigh!: All the other components in the server are still working. Dual Athlon MP 1900+ on Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW Motherboard. 3GB RAM (All Corsair) .5 Terabyte Drive Space Intel Lan card Nvidia Vanta Video Card Running SuSE Linux (Natch!)
