fromage
A couple nights ago my system had an infamous blue screen of death error. When I reset it refused to POST, so I went about the process of removing hardware until I could get it to come back up. It finally came back after removing one of the DIMMs. It's a PC2100 1GB Registered ECC module Part#CM74SD1024R-2100/S. I've tried it in different sockets on the same board and in another known good motherboard this morning, neither will POST with this DIMM installed. Looks like I need an RMA... System Specs: Tyan Thunder K7X (S2468) 2x Athlon MP2200+ 2x Corsair 1GB PC2100 Registered ECC (well 1x at the moment...) Adaptec AHA-2940U2W Seagate Cheetah 15K.3 36GB Seagate Cheetah 15K.3 18GB MSI GeForce4 Ti4600 Thanks.
