nuskool
My machine has been working fine for a few months but one day after turning it on all i get is a black screen (no beeps either). To be perfectly honest I'm not 100% sure it is the memory as I have no other way of testing it. I have stripped down the machine to the very basics but still nothing. Power is there as the fans are rotating but nothing on screen. The machine is Athlon 64 3000+, MSI K8N Neo Platinum motherboard and PowerColor Radeon 900PRO graphics card. Would it be possible to return the memory for testing and if found faulty a replacement? Thanks Scott
Wired
What part # of memory do you have? How many sticks do you have? Try running memtest.org on it (bootable floppy or CD)

nuskool
Sorry, i posted my reply before i saw your message. I cannot run any applications even bootable from cd as the machine doesn't post. It doesn't even show the BIOS screen. Thanks Scott
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 3, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 3, 2004 I would see if a friend can maybe help you test the module in another system, but I have no problem replacing your module /'s if you want to try that. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
