BoS
I was recently getting a lot of blue screen errors on my computer. After running some tests using memtest, i found that one of my 256 MB XMS sticks went bad and was causing a lot of errors. After removing the module from my motherboard my computer stopped freezing up. I'd like to know how I can get a replacement pack of memory. I bought a twin pack of 256 sticks, but only one went bad, can I get them both replaced so that I have identical sticks in my NForce2 board, or can I only get one? Thanks for any help. BoS
Well, what I wanted to ask was, is it possible for the set to be replaced or will they only replace the non-working one? They're twin modules, I assume it would be customary to be replaced with a twin pack. Just wondering how the RMA works.
Wired
Yep, send both in, but make sure you list it as ONE TwinX pack.
BoS
Do I need the original packaging? Unfortunately, I don't think I still have it because I've had this computer for almost 2 years now.
Wired
Nope. You may want to call them to find out what the best alternative packaging would be though.
