UDShek
I have been running two Value Select 512MB PC3200 modules in dual channel mode. Recently, I received blue screens when booting the computer that i attributed to hardware issues. After running the program Memtest86 3.1a, I found that there were errors on one of my memory sticks. I separated the two, testing each one individually. One stick passed the test, while the other failed. Throughout the Memtest program, the faulty stick continuously showed errors, reaching into the 60,000 error range towards the end of the test. I figure that this means that the stick is bad and needs to be replaced. I am quite proficient with computer hardware and software, and I am sure that the BIOS settings were correct, as I did have the system running well for quite some time before I started getting errors. My system includes these other parts: ASUS A7N8X Deluxe rev 2.0 AMD Athlon XP Barton 3000+ (400 MHz FSB) ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Western Digital 120GB 7200rpm hard drive ANTEC 400 Watt power supply Benq 16X DVD-ROM Lite-On 52X24X52 CD-RW drive Sound Blaster LIVE 5.1 Thanks for any help
