j_illmatik
I have a Gigabyte 7VT600 Motherboard and my Corsair memory is reporting as PC2700 RAM through CPU-Z utility. I have two Corsair Memory Modules of the following part number: CMX512-3200PT XMS3200v2.1 I have upgraded to the latest BIOS version and memory is set to SPD in BIOS. Perhaps a motherboard issue, perhaps a memory issue. I love my Corsair memory and would appreciate any help you can provide! Thanks
Wired
It's old enough that it may have been labeled as 2700 because the 3200 spec wasn't completed as of yet. Regardless, check the speed, it should do 200 Mhz with no problems.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 29, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 29, 2004 That would be correct, just set the memory Frequency and timings manually and you should be fine!
