PsychoTrain
I get one long beep followed by a short silence then it repeats when I try to boot from one of my memory sticks, a Corsair VS256MB266 stick. My system is an AMD2400XP+ on a Soyo KT333 Dragon Lite motherboard. The memory was working fine up till now. My other memory stick is the Corsair VS512MB266 and I've had no problems with it. My system boots fine with only the 512mb stick but not with the 256mb stick. I've tried the stick in all 3 memory slots and in different combinations with the 512mb stick. I seem to have a defective piece of memory and would like an RMA. Thanks.
