spike
I believe I have a memory module that is broke. One day all over the sudden my system would not boot and sometimes after booting it goes straight to blue screen and says some error occurred in some address. Fortunately I have two 256m modules so I started troubleshooting and it turns out one of the modules is bad. It was not overclocked so that is not a problem. Gorganzola
I Think I Have a Bad Part. What Do I Do? Please follow that link. It will instruct you on what to do. Outside of that, have you tried the good stick of memory in the other memory slots to make sure it isn't the other memory slots that are of issue? spike
Yes I tried it. The bad stick of ram is bad in all slots while the good one is fine in all the slots. I also tried tweaking the cas, ras, timing, clock (downclocking and overcklocking) and voltage and it made no difference, So I’m pretty sure at this point that its the problem with this ram stick and not the motherboard.
