PriMorTiaL_k0s
I have a stick of CMX512-3200LLPT. I'm looking to add another 512 to my motherboard (K8T-Neo FIS2R). I was wondering if my existing module would be "fully" compatible with my intended purchase the CMX512-3200XLPT? I would appreciate a prompt accurate response very greatly. Thank you very much! CMC_SAVAGE
You'd be better off getting another stick of what you already have. You'll be limited to the SPD of the LL stick.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 24, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 24, 2004 No, I am sorry, but the way this platform operates the modules would need to have identical SPD or the system may not be able to post! If you do try to match the module you have now, please make sure that both modules match in part# and revision.
