mhql
I recently got a Corsair Gaming K70 RGB keyboard. However, when i try to install Corsair Utility Manager, the following error appears. "Setup was unable to install this product due to some error." Looked around, and couldn't find a solution. P.s I'm running Windows 8.1.
JalYt_Justin
Restart your computer and try again. Make sure you're downloading the most recent version. Also, does it start the download and then cancels it later? Or does it just flat out not start?

JalYt_Justin
Interesting. I would make sure all of your drivers are updated, and your BIOS is updated. If it still doesn't work, it may not be something that I can help you with and you should contact Corsair support. Driver updates can sometimes save yourself a lot of time in having to deal with them.
Inheritance
Does it just say some error or is there an actual error.
gamebynight
I experienced this same issue but fixed it. This was the error: "Setup was unable to install this product due to some error. Click finish to exit Setup." I fixed it by extracting the .msi installation file from the zip. After that it worked fine.

You're not really supposed to run setup files from .zips so this might fix your issue

romankubiv101
When i try to install the Corsair Unity Engine it says that a program behaved unexpectadly, then rewinds install. Im instaling the 1.16.42 versoin because i got used to it and i like the UI. (the new one installs fine) UI.log msi.log
Toasted
There was a problem installing the drivers. Try installing CUE in its default location C:\ instead of H:\ and see if that makes any difference.
romankubiv101
My C: drive is my SSD and i dont have a lot of space but il try it. Do you know if i can migrate the software after install?

Toasted
Are you still seeing the same error? If CUE 2 installs without issue, Maybe the uninstaller is not removing the driver files?
romankubiv101
Yes So how would i uninstall the drivers?
Einherjar21
just a weird suggestion. Clear your %temp% like (Run>%temp%) and delete everything if unsure get like a cc cleaner to remove temp file that could have issues with the msi installer. and try adjusting UAC to a lower setting or something. hope it helps if not don't burn me. :)
romankubiv101
Whats a UAC?
