2 sticks...different revisions?

Ok first off I have a P4C800-E MB and when I built my system I ordered a 512mb stick of Corsair xms PC-3200. I recently (well i recieved it tonight) bought a new 512 stick to bump my system to a GIG...Each stick individually works fine, however when I put them both in together nothing happens. I have tried multiple combinations of slots nothing seems to work. I then looked at the sticks side by side and realized that EVERYTHING was identical except for the revision #'s...my original is v1.2 and the new one is v4.1. Could this be the problem?? I'm imagining so, if it is what can I do to reconcile it? I do not have the money for a twin set and I ordered this one from newegg and they didnt list a revision #, to be honest i didnt even know memory had revisions. To be more honest i'm quite pissed that i'm going thru all this when simply posting the revision number on their site would probably lessen the stress level's of a lot of customers...but thats another story. Please help!

Welcome to the forums, wayun!

Please note that non-matched memory modules are not rated to run their timings when used with other modules!

Thus, please set your timings to 2.5-3-3-7 @ 2.8 volts (CAS-RAS to CAS Delay-Row Precharge-Cycle Time/tRAS) and see if that helps.

Hey thanks for the reply...I went into the bios and was able to change everything but the cycle time...I did not see that option anywhere in my bios. Where can I change that? I tried rebooting with the new settings except for cycle time and still nothing, but i figure it wouldnt work if i didnt change the volts....the only other option i saw was burst length, but i didnt know if i should change that so i left it alone. Also after entering the changes should I change it back to "enable" or leave it "disabled" which allowed me to make the changes in the first place?
