keithmcp
I just got a k8v SE deluxe with A64 3400+ with bios 1004. I have two sticks cmx512-2700c2 in it. Right now they are in slots one and two and timings are all set to auto(except for auto/limit and mem to cpu ratio(5:3 DDR333)). My question is should I use the same memory timings that you recommend for the 3200c2(DDR 400) or different ones? I have seen the following in other posts: CAS 2.0/2.5 (seen in different posts for DDR 400) Bank Interleaving 4 TRC Auto TRFC Auto TRCD 3 TWR Auto TRWT Auto TRAS 6 TRP 3 DDR Clock delay Auto Should CAS be 2.0 or 2.5? What about TWR & TRWT, I saw nothing about them. Is DDR Clock dealy same asn Command Rate? What should voltage be? Thanks for the help.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 20, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 20, 2004 Please put the memory module on slot 1 & 3; make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your MB, and set the following settings on your BIOS; Advanced Chipset: Memclock Mode: Limit Memclock Value: DDR333 Bank Interleaving: 4/Enabled Burst Length: 4 SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.5T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 7T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 3T Hypertransport: 4X Jumper Free/Frequency Voltage Control: Spread Spectrum: Enabled CPU FSB Clock: 200 DDR Voltage: 2.7/2.75 Volts All other settings should be set to default settings! Then please test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and let’s make sure it's not some other issue! I would run the test for at least 2-3 passes to be sure!
