red-ray
These will be a known issue section below the release notes. We had a limited version of this with 2.7.5361 but with a lot more testing going on that list will be longer. Thank you, this is a good start, but please can we have a known issues sticky thread that contains this list and get's updated if any post release issues are confirmed. This should be closed so it does net get filled up with comments and should have two entries for each release. One for known issues on release and the other for post release issues. nh_790
No, it is not a full change log. Just what we believe were the major issue's people are having and our main focus. The blinking of LED's you are referring to, which product is that on? Is it only on custom curve? If this is the Commander Mini, then yes we have been looking into this, if other please let me know. Are the fans you are using PWM, 3 pin, or both? Thanks for the reply. The issue is on the commander mini using 3x AF120 Quiet and 1x AF140 Quiet fans. All are 3pin I believe. yes only on custom curve, when set to fixed there is no issue.

Administrators Technobeard Posted February 15, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 15, 2015 It's been a month since initial post. You might want to re-check your math there. It's been just over 10 days since the initial post, not over a month. He also updated it just over 3 days ago.
ApexAU
A couple of things: 1. Can you please respond to my question about the bugged system tray menus? I'm not asking for confirmation of a fix, I just want to make sure the developers are aware of the issue. 2. I think most people expected a delay. A short delay isn't a big deal at this point but can you please provide an actual date for the release as opposed to the vague description in the first post? Thanks in advance. FloorPizza
Would it be possible to get a checkbox added in the future which allows non-PSU fans to run at 0rpm without flashing red? Believe this is mostly an issue for people with Strix and Twin Frozr video coolers which stop the fan under low/no load. Many EVGA graphics cards keep their fans at zero rpm until crossing a threshold temperature. When you are not running a game, the fans are at zero 99% of the time. The flashing red fan rpm indicator in Corsair Link is very annoying. I will put this on the list for GPU fans and see what we can do. You may want to implement this feature for any/all fans, not just GPU. Even if you feel it necessary to throw up a "warning! blah blah" dialog box when the option is checked. lukacsmw
Another bug to consider - at least I think its a bug. I have my LED light kit connected to my Mini-commander linked to my CPU temperature. Normally, the lights are some shade of blue, but then it'll briefly flash to Red for one duty cycle on the temperature sensor, and then go back to blues. Watching my corsair link dashboard, I don't see the CPU temperature go anywhere near the 60C threshold I set for red (this was occurring under almost no load, CPU temp at 36-38C). Probably did it once every 4-5 minutes or so.
red-ray
2/11/15 The new 3.1.xxxx is still under test and some issues were found with the fixes for the firmware on H80i and H100i. The new firmware is going to be pulled along with the new firmware update bootloader for the 3.1.xxxx release at first. It is still being worked on but will be a couple weeks behind as we have to start qualification over again after updating the firmware. What about the H110iGT and CL Mini firmware issues? I posted http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=757703#post757703 about these and also raised a ticket. Thus far I had had no feedback as to if Corsair intend to address these firmware bugs. I feel by now I should have. I would also like to know if CL 3 will implement the Global\Access_CorsairLink mutex to interlock access to the CL hardware. Given HWiNFO and SIV correctly implement this I can't see why CL 3 would fail to have this. It would be wise if Corsair made a Beta firmware release available for me (under NDA) to test before the CL release so I could confirm the issues are fixed. I didn't see that the original post was edited on 02/11 to add the above information. Looks like we will be waiting for a couple more weeks.:[pouts:
felipy2k
well at least its a good news after all ... i've been struggling with corsair link since the first day i bought the H80i... its kinda hard to believe that a company like corsair that got some of the best hardware out there, could make a software useless like this and full of bugs. Just one question, he mentioned new firmware for H80i... the firmware comes with the software? i mean, the new firmware is installed with the 3.1.xxxx? red-ray
Yes, the new firmware will come with CL 3. Every release of CL has the latest firmware usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Corsair\Corsair Link\FirmwareImages\ and is able up update your devices. mrchips1
Will all registered users receive an e-mail advising download and installation instructions? Ian_Ann
Where? He said that new release was planned on 16th Feb 2015. Today is 17th Feb 2015.... so where is the new update? Albeit I'm really not happy about the actual version, he said the 16th is kind of a 'best-case-date', not the real release date. But really: give us a forecast when will the final version be released? Next month? Or in april? Even if you know you cannot fix various bugs we posted soon, give us a chance to give up on Corsair Link and settle to another manufacturer. Nothing's more annoying than waiting for at least well... waiting. ;) Chris

He said that new release was planned on 16th Feb 2015. Today is 17th Feb 2015.... so where is the new update? Here's what he actually said in the original post: The new date for the software to be released is the 16th of February. That date is a best case scenario that can/will move if needed. 2/11/15 The new 3.1.xxxx is still under test and some issues were found with the fixes for the firmware on H80i and H100i.
