Dear Ram Guy.

I have a x2 512 2700LLPT Platinum series corsair memory modules. They are 1 year and 4 months old. One of the modules casues the system to reset, crash out of games giving me genral protection faults and blue screen of death. I have crossed refrenced the error id's with the microsoft knowledge base its states that the memory could be at fault. Iv tested both modules sepretly and in other systems , every time i put the faulty one in the systems become unstable. Please could you help and tell me if this is covered by warranty and if i can get corsair to directly replace it or if i need to send it to you for testing or repair. I need this to be sorted out as im a 16+hrs user and depend on my system for work.

Kind Regrads Amit Anand. :)

Please make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your MB and load Setup/optimized default settings, and try the following BIOS settings;

TwinX1024 or TwinX512-2700LL

Advanced Chipset Features (Ctrl + F1)

DRAM Clock: 333 MHz

Configure Dram timing by SPD: Disabled/User define

SDRAM CAS Latency: 2T

SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T

SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 2T

SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6T

SDRAM Burst Length: 8

SDRAM Bank Interleave: 4/Auto/Enabled

SDRAM Command Rate: 1T

Frequency Voltage Control

CPU Freq: 200

Memory or Dim Reference voltage: 2.7/2.75 Volts (+.2)

AGP Voltage: Default *unless you have ATI 9200 or 9600 then 1.6 Volts suggested!*

All other settings should be set to default settings!

Then please test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and let’s make sure it's not some other issue! I would run the test for at least 2-3 passes to be sure!
