ASUS P4800E won't boot with 2GB, will with 1GB

My system is as follows:

 

ASUS P4P800-E DELUXE 865PE

CPU P4/3.2CGHz 800M 478P/512K HT RT

2 sets of 1 Gbyte TwinX CMX512-3200XLPRO 400Mhz

 

The system will boot with 1GB but not 2GB of memory.

Also, the system will only boot with memory installed in black slots.

I have updated the MB Bios, but it made no difference.

 

I really need the extra memory for this systems application!

So if you put ANY memory in the blue slots, and none in the black, it won't boot, and this memory WILL work when in the blue slots? Sounds like the mobo needs to be RMA'd.
