Combining 3200C2PT with ValueSelect 3200

Latency for 3200C2PT is set to 2.5-3-3-6 for AMD64 I believe. The latency for ValueSelect 3200 is specified at 2.5.

 

I have:

a MSI K8T NEO-FISR2 Socket 754A.

Twinx Corsair 3200C2PT 512Mb(1Gb total)

AMD Athlon 64 3200+

 

If I add ValueSelect 3200, how will it impact my memory/system performance?

You cannot mix memory with most of the MB's made with this chipset. You are welcome to try it, but we would not suggest mixing memory. Either use XMS3200C2PT or Value Select, but I would not suggest both in the same system.

I am not sure if TWINX512-3200LL and VS1GBKIT400 are single-side or double-side, but the motherboard has this combinations. Base on this combinations, I should be able to use either Single Side or Double Side. Anyway, how can I make the best of these modules? Thanks.
