bebop0389
The scroll wheel on my M90 went haywire about several months ago, and I'm hoping someone can assist me in RMAing it before the warranty's expiration next month. I was going to post on the support system, but after reading RAM GUY's sticky post in the customer care section, I figured I'd try here first. I've had it nearly 2 years now, but I used a different mouse almost exclusively for ~ the first year of ownership, meaning that the wheel died with way less than a year of light use. I tried re-installing the driver/firmware and cleaning it, but it's definitely shot. Very disappointing :(: I would have done an RMA a lot sooner, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to pay (or if it's even worth paying) shipping costs, as I'm currently unemployed. Will I have to pay shipping one way, or both ways? Do I need to send it in the original box? (I think I tossed it) Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to describe the full situation in detail. Any help with the RMA would be greatly appreciated; Thank you.
Toasted
It's best to contact customer service as they are the ones who may be able to help you. You can contact customer service via phone by calling their toll-free number on Skype. Corsair's toll-free number can be found on their contact page. bebop0389
Edited the main post to clarify that the product is under warranty for another month or so. It's best to contact customer service as they are the ones who may be able to help you. You can contact customer service via phone by calling their toll-free number on Skype. Corsair's toll-free number can be found on their contact page. Thanks for the suggestion. I think I'll wait a little bit for a response, and if I get none, I'll call or start a ticket. PS: Corsair RMAed the mouse and upgraded me to an M95. The process was pretty painless. I'm enjoying the M95 much much more than the M90 so far, as the side buttons are of much better quality and easier to depress.
