aurimask
Hi Everyone, Somehow missed to check QVL and bought this kit for my ASUS Z87-PRO motherboard: Vengeance® Pro Series — 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 DRAM 2133MHz C9 Memory Kit (CMY16GX3M2A2133C9R) Tried to build a PC, it is booting only with BIOS defaults and the speed of 1333Mhz. Then updated BIOS to the latest 2013 and it seems working fine now, but have not tried to perform any performance tweaks yet so not sure whether it overclock. Selected XMP and it was working fine at 1999 MHz. 1. Maybe someone has this kind of configuration and can confirm whether it is working fine? 2. As it is not in the QVL should I be worried and look to exchange or there is possibility that it will be supported in the future?
emissary42
Can you please post a screenshot of CPU-Z memory and spd tab with the XMP enabled?

emissary42
1066MHz = Double Data Rate 2133 = DDR3-2133 = PC3-17000 So all is good.
