Boight
I've tried everything (solution) in this thread except taking it apart and filing the pads or replacing the switch. Very disappointed Corsair!:[pouts: Mine is out of warranty so nothing ventured nothing gained. I see a number of articles on how to disassemble. It picks my butt that I have to do this when I have 10+ year old mice with no click issues. Edited December 31, 2019 by Boight
Oldbie
For what it's worth, I've been having the double click issue for a couple of weeks, and I just tried the "soft reset" method from this page. It immediately fixed my issue. I'll report back if anything changes.
Oldbie
I'll report back if anything changes. Well, it worked for about an hour. Not a single inadvertent double click. And then it started again. Seems really odd, right? How could it be a hardware defect if soft resetting the mouse fixes it for a short period of time? :sigh!:
smith1099
Just got hit by this. 3 years old mouse. M65. Double clicks at random, releases click at random.
smith1099
Latest firmware, problem persists. Hardware got old? In 3 years? Why is it that all these "gaming" items seems lacking in quality and durability?
duckiofdeath
I've tried all the "tricks" too, and nothing changes. I really like my wireless Harpoon, but this is a definite deal breaker for obvious reasons. >.<
jwbaynham
Yeah just spray some of this under the left mouse button from time to time...lasts years before I have to touch it under normal use. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013J41KW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=
