GameGod
Hi, I have a stick of PC2100 memory (VS512MB266) that has been working fine for the last 1 1/2 years or so. Suddenly in the past few days my machine which is running Windows 2000 SP4 started crashing with a blue screen randomly, usually when it woke from hibernate. When I investigated the source of the crash, one of the symptoms was bad/failing RAM. I then ran Memtest (Memtest-86 v3.0) which reported a slew of bad blocks around 480 MB. It usually fails on test 7, after running about 5-10 minutes. I am running this on a stock Asus A7N8X Deluxe, with an AMD 1800 XP processor. The system was rock solid until this memory problem came up. Please let me know what I can do to fix this issue. Thanks.
