CUE not recognizing device on system startup

I wasn't having problems before, but unfortunately, I had to wipe my drive and reinstall Windows for.. reasons.

Since reinstalling everything, I've noticed that whenever I restart the computer, CUE won't recognize my keyboard on startup, saying no device is detected. Restarting CUE alleviates this problem, but it is an inconvenience to close and reopen CUE every time I start my computer.

Running Windows 7, 64-bit. CUE updated to latest version. Keyboard (K70) firmware is updated. USB drivers and chipset software are all updated. Z77 Asus motherboard. I've tried 1 3.0 port and 2 2.0 ports, both with the same results. (using 1 3.0 port results in keyboard freezing when hitting Caps lock a few times, a problem many people have been reporting)

Not sure why this is happening. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I've uninstalled and reinstalled CUE repeatedly, in addition to different USB drivers. I'm out of ideas other than reinstalling Windows again, lol.

I had the same issue and fixed it by delaying the start-up of CUE 30 seconds when I start my PC.

Previously I was having to deal with this same issue daily, but since I changed the start-up I have not had the problem. I know it does not fix the underlying issue, but it's an easy work around.

It is a temporary solution but as scwatson posted, a delayed start would resolve it.

Upload some logs here in a .zip archive. It may help with resolving the issue in a future release of CUE.

Logs can be accessed using the CUE software>Settings tab>Support tab>View logs (Technical Support section)

If I install 1.2.77 and try starting up the computer, CUE recognizes the keyboard but can't control the lighting at all. I'm able to update the firmware without a problem, though.
