Thank you for using high end optical sensors in the M45/Sabre

Recommended Posts

I'd just like to thank Corsair for using a high quality optical sensor in the M45 mouse and Sabre mouse. The M45 uses a Pixart PMW3310H sensor which is the same thing as the Avago 3310 just under a different name. The Sabre uses the Avago ADNS S3988 sensor which is what the 2013 Deathadder used.

These may not be the absolute best sensors on the market, but I think they are very good. I hope Corsair continues to move towards optical sensors and away from laser sensors. In particular, I hope Corsair drops the the Avago ADNS 9500 and Avago ADNS 9800 that they use in their laser mice. These two sensors are particularly avoided by mouse enthusiasts because of their issues.
