ppt12527
Hi, I use A8V Deluxe PCB 2.0 (BIOS:1007) and FX-53 with TWINX1024-3200XLPT.I cann't pass memtest86+ ver.1.30 when I set DDR400 CL2.0-2-2-5 dual channel even 2.8V voltage. If I set by SPD,it only run CL2.0-3-2-5,fail to pass memtest86+ ,too. Finally I must run DDR400 CL2.0-3-3-5 and can pass memtest86+. Has any method to solve the problem?? :(: thanks a lot. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 10, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 10, 2004 Please test the modules one at a time and lets make sure one is not weak or failing. And you can use http://www.memtest.org to test them.
ppt12527
I think the problem is caused by RAM,not motherboard.Due to I has another TWINX1024-3200XLT in Asus A8V Deluxe PCB 1.02 (BIOS:1007) with FX-53.It can pass Prime95(ver. 23.8.1) 32 hours while run DDR400 CL2.0-2-2-5 2.6V dual channel. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/ppt12527/Prime95.png
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 11, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 11, 2004 Well we can sure try replacing the modules, but if you have another system running I would try the modules in that system to be sure, and if you do indeed find you have a bad module, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
