mtry1
I am trying to upgrade to a Corsair 1GB 184pin DDR-Dimm. But when I put the RAM into the second slot and turn on the computer, I get a series of beeps and no video. It is 3 long beeps and I get nothing on the monitor at all. When I take the RAM out again everything runs fine. I'm not sure if I need to take out the old RAM first? Or it could be BIOS settings, I dont even know how to get in the BIOS though. So if anyone could give me some suggestions that would be nice. Thanks

In addition, please tell us if you have the latest BIOS installed on your system and the BIOS settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
