Irish Whiskey
Hello, Just installed my Hydrocool 200EX. Powered it up......display works...alarm sounds....water not pumping. I've removed the cover and everything is connected. No sound from the pump tho. Have I missed anything?? HELP !!!
Irish Whiskey
Well....after reading the entire forum....I checked the connectors behind the front panel...The Power line to the pump was fitted badly. I cut out the glue & refixed it. sorted....VERY shoddy workmanship tho Corsair. Its probably just that the poor Mexican getting $1 an hour couldnt be bothered doing it right. Eh? Its running now though....Display shows 28.5C...thats 83F to those that dont know real degrees  Motherboard monitor says I'm my CPU is 39C though....my aircooler was about 44C so its better but not as good as I hoped. I'm listening to an incessant ticking noise now....also, my hoses appear to have tiny bubbles stuck to the sides.... Is this it....or can I expect temps to settle down after a 'running in' period. Thanks
Irish Whiskey
Still running ish after 3 hours. However, if I tap the flow meter the pump stops....hardly confidence inspiring....That front panel connector is a dog. I can see why Corsair dropped these...the RMA's must be a killer.... Also...my flowmeter bulb has never worked....where can I get one....Anyone know the spec? Thanks
Wired
Sounds like the lines just need to be bleeded a bit to get out the air. Normal for any WC setup. Once the air bubbles are completely out (may need to be topped off after that), the temps may go down a bit.
Bio-Hazard
What Wired said.............. :D: And 39C is not a bad temp for ANY water cooling system depending on what CPU/MoBo you are running and what you are taking the temps with due to the fact that ALL MoBo report temps differently and most aren't even close to being correct.
