pyrodude
I purchased this keyboard about a month ago and within a week of my purchase one of the LEDs went out. I thought nothing of it since it was on a key a never used anyways. But since then I have been having LEDs go out every few days. As of right now 6 LEDs have gone out. I did some searches on the forum and noticed i wasn't the only one having this issue and it is a known issue. After spending $150 on a keyboard I didn't expect to be having this kind of problem. It seems the general consensus is to submit an RMA and receive a new one. My question is did I just receive a faulty older model? Or if I RMA it will i get another keyboard whose LEDs will start to fail within a month? It is a bit disheartening to think that I will have to keep on submitting RMAs if they LEDs keep on failing. It seems like I will need to have another keyboard to use while my K95 is getting RMA.
mysticc
Did you read anywhere of other models of K95s that have reduced chance of failing LEDs? I guess not - so go with RMAs until you are out of warranty - then live with dead LEDs. Poor - I know - but that`s it.
leelitch
Have had the K95 for about 6 months so far and no problems except recording macros. I don't do it a lot, usually about 4 macros are all I need, but having access to all the others is really nice. I need to be able to record not only the keys (a,b,c, etc) but also the other keys (enter, shift, alt, etc). I have not been able to do either and must be missing something. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!!
Toasted
@leelitch Use the MR button in the software. Press the MR button>G-KEY>Macro/keystrokes>MR button>save the profile to the K95, enable hardware playback and test the G-key.
