Dwindleflip
I can control the fan via Corsair link seeing the speed manually but it does not turn on by itself and it just reached 50c with 0 fan speed on auto. Is this normal?
wytnyt
its normal,it senses from what ive read temps within to trigger the fan load it hard and it may come on but a 1200w is alot of watts to try to use.
Dwindleflip
yeah i'm not using it all or even close it right now. Should i just set it to fixed at 40% speed so it stays around 30c? i cant imagine running 50c is good for temps in case. Does fixed ramp up from 40% automatically if i set it at 40%? Dwindleflip
its in a corsair 750d, standard placement with bottom fan opening facing down over the filter. BTW thanks for the help
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted October 7, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 7, 2014 Flip the PSU around (fan grill up). And 50°C isn't too hot for an internal PSU temperature. And if you set the PSU to 40%, it will run all the time, but it's still very, very quiet.
