Any Dead/Broken LED's Yet For Anyone ?

Thought it would be a good idea to maybe start a tally to comparing the new RGB's against the older K70/K90/95.

I went through 3 x K95's in s short span of 4 months due to random dead LED's and my first 1 arrived with 2 dead LED's.

Ok so my RGB K95 arrived 20 minutes ago, It's epic, No dead or broken LED's so far.

Here is the official statement from our beloved product manager.

Thank you for purchasing the Corsair Gaming K70 and K95 RGB keyboards. Unfortunately we were alerted to an issue regarding a LED on a specific key that is not being lit after updating to the latest firmware. We want to alert everyone that this is not a defective LED and your hardware is not compromised. The LED error is related to an unforeseen issue with our firmware/software. We have been able to isolate the issue and are working on a resolution with an ETA by the end of the week. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience and understanding as this is being resolved.

I take that back, It seems the "\" and the "#" are both dead, So much for Corsairs "Dead LED's are a thing of the past".

*Edit* I have noticed that in the settings tab on the CUE it does not have "UK" layout and the US layout does not include \ and # in the correct locations, Could this be a factor ?

Thanks for the update Yellowbeard, Greybeard also posted that on the OCUK forums and confirmed that multiple LED's were affected etc...

Good to see Corsair working on a solution and keeping us up to date :):

May I suggest informing via Facebook maybe ? Many people might not be aware of the firmware update coming out to fix this issue and could be getting ready to take their keyboards back.
