tealtrack
Hi, I just added 1gb of PC3200 dual cl-2.5-8-4 to my system, and it already had 256 mb of PC3200 dual, but at cl-3. I put the 1 gb in the 1-2 slots and the other in the 3-4 slots. They are both 400mhz, but when I check the status of the memory, it shows the full amount of mb's, but at 333mhz. Is this due to the diference in cl speed? Should I take out the 256 mb and just run the 1 gb? Or is it better to run more ram even if it runs at 333mhz instead of 400mhz? Any info would be great, thanks, Teal.

Wired
Also, sometimes boards with 4 slots filled will lower the FSB by design.
