Possible Memory Leak in Corsair Link software 2.7.5339?

Hi,

Im having major probelms with corsair link software at the moment.

Whenever I have a gaming session or leave the pc idle for more that 4-5 hours, the link software stops responding and there is a delay of over 2-3 minutes for menu control on the context menu, I have to end the process via task manager and then restart the software, also when left idle or in a gaming session the memory usage and CPU usage is unusually high, when the PC is idle the CPU usage of corsair link is a constant 15% on an 8 core CPU, with 250-300MB ram usage, sometimes I have even seen it as high as 500MB. When the software is first started the CPU usage is minimal and the ram usage is 20-30mb. Over time either gaming or left idle the usage builds up and then the software stops responding.

Please advise as this is becoming a bit of a pain especially as Im gaming and have my headphones on, I keep having to check the fan speeds during my gaming to make sure they are speeding up during temp rises.

Regards

Sal

Further digging around has revealed alot of opening and closing of Keys and handles somethings not right here, Im a little out of my depth. perhaps someone can explain why corsair.exe keeps opening and closing 642 reg keys that lead to HKCU\Software\corsair\CorsairLink\Devices and how it has used so many cpu cycles in 9hrs uptime??? I dont even know how to express this amount numerically. 75,333,848,180,017 CPU cycles in 9 hours??? and the number keeps rising

That is 100% os one of your 8 CPUs so there is a bug and it's spinning! There is not a lot you can do. You will just have to either wait for Cirsair to fix it or find another CL hardware monitoring program. I use SIV (http://rh-software.com/).

Why thank you kind sir :)

Red-Ray, if you're going to suggest software, please be forthcoming and state that you're the developer of said software.

Thank you for moving the thread, do you know what's going on with Corsair Link. This is pretty bad technobeard?
