Dr_jtagg
Hey guys, My Keyboard showed up a few days ago, I downloaded the drivers and the software and the lights and everything was working great until I tried to play some Dota with a few friends of mine. I had a profile set to launch with Dota and when the game started up, the keyboard's lights sort of crashed. No matter what button I'd press the lights would stay frozen, and the windows lock key and the lighting keys stopped working. Another issue that I was having is when I'd try to talk to my friends I just couldn't. Mumble didn't register any time I pressed my push to talk (Caps Lock) and when I moved over to Skype (where I have open mic enabled) my friends still couldn't hear me. I figured all of these problems were my mic (Logitech G430) but when I plugged in my last keyboard (Razer Deathstalker) my problems disappeared and everything was working as intended. So the only real option is the keyboard is malfunctioning. At this point I'm not sure what to do, I've deleted all profiles but the default, I've re-installed the firmware on the Keyboard, I've reset the firmware, I've uninstalled and re-installed the lighting software and nothing has changed. If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it, at this point I'm thinking of just returning it and getting a new one but I want to make sure I've exhausted ever option. OopsWrongButton
Same issues with dota and teamspeak+mumble, I use caps lock for ptt. In other threads caps lock was causing the malfunction(when pressed many times in a shirt period of time). I've even had audio issues where I thought I had a memory problem or high CPU usage because audio was glitching and the people I was talking to sounded robotic. I've since went back to my g13 with no issues, waiting for a fix before trying again. Might return it but I don't know if Amazon will send me a new model, since I bought the first batch.
