Dave McKeen
I am reinstalling Windows 7 from scratch on my SSD that previously had Windows installed on it. I've been advised to "wipe to all zeros" first. Is there a Corsair utility to initialize my CSSD-N240GBGTXB-BK? Also, how can I check to make sure my firmware is up to date? Thanks, - Dave

Dave McKeen
Hello YB! Thanks, I downloaded the Toolbox. My firmware is up to date. I have the toolbox installed on the drive I want to wipe! Looks like I will install the Toolbox on the PC I'm using now and wipe the SSD from here. I remember a long time ago the toolkit for my SSD ran on a version of Ubuntu off of a CD. Any such thing here?
Toasted
Corsair does not have a SSD toolbox which runs off a CD or USB drive. Parted Magic was used to secure erase SSDs which ran off a bootable USB drive or CD.
