M95 needs reinstalling EVERY reboot.

Recommended Posts

Every time that I reboot my computer I have to reinstall the software that came with the m95 mouse.

(I also own K95 if this is relevant and the Venegence remote headset. In fact my whole computer is corsair except for mobo and processor).

The problem with my mouse is that after I create a profile with hotkeys/macros for the side buttons, after I restart the mouse seems to only want to work as a default-"Factory" mouse. That means that the "sniper" button comes back that I switched out, the profile stops working and even if I delete and reimport the profile it doesn't work.

Every time that I want to use my mouse I have to uninstall the software, then reinstall the software and the reimport the profile.

What have I tried?

- I have tried updating windows

- I have tried doing a sfc scan

- I have tried uninstalling the mouse and reinstalling after a reboot

- I have tried updating to the latest firmware on the website

- I have tried plugging he mouse into a different USB

- I have tried using hardware mode...

The only solution is to uninstall the software and then reinstall it.

Could this be something to do with my keyboard messing up witht he mouse profile after a reboot?
