Programmer-PR Posted November 2, 2004 Share Posted November 2, 2004 hi,i recently buyed an asus p4c800 e deluxe and corsair pc4000 pro (the one with lights) and i wanted to know what settings in the bios i have to modify manually to make sure the memory runs like it should be normally??? from what i have seen it has to run the memory at 266,333,400 or by speed but the memory by factory runs at 500mhz and there is where im confused. i will apreciate any tweak or setup hints thanks. Your RAM speed setting needs to be 400 which is actually representative of a 1:1 ratio, not the actual speed of the RAM. And, to run the RAM at 250mhz (DDR-500) you will need to set the FSB at 250mhz. However, there is no guarantee that your CPU will run that fast. Good luck, Mike.
