Istari
About a week ago my computer suddenly wouldnt POST. I checked the power supply, searched the motherboard for blown caps, reset the cmos, but nothing worked. I started testing everything, part by part, on another machine, and everything worked until I got to the RAM, where the other computer wouldn't POST with this RAM either. The RAM is Corsair XMS TWINX1024-2700LL running on an MSI K8N Neo Platinum with a socket 754 AMD Athlon 3400+. Whatever computer has this RAM on it won't post, so I think it has to be the RAM, although a computer not posting because of RAM is very odd. Thanks in advance for any help on this. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 2, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 2, 2004 Can you please try to test the modules one at a time on your system if still no post; then try it in a different system or in a friend system if possible, just to confirm if the memory modules will able to boot up or not and to make sure its not some other issue!
