Nubiewon
I updated from 2.6 to 2.7 and initially 2.7 detected all of my hardware fine. Then I restarted my computer and BAM. Now nothing is detected. All CL shows are zeroes for temps on everything. Any fixes please?
Toasted
Make sure the Service is running in the background in Task Manager.
Nubiewon
It is indeed running in Task Manager. But just does not seem to recognize or register any of the temps. I attached a pic of how CL looks like. This is on windows 8.1 w/ H80i btw . As a last resort, since I have only been having trouble with CL ever since I got it, is there any way to completely remove CL and go back to factory defaults that H80i came with? When I first got the H80i, I did not install CL and the fans on the H80i pretty much ramped up according to cpu temperature anyway. Then I installed CL to try a balance and performance cooling profile. Decided they did not make much of a diff so I just uninstalled CL, remove the appdata profiles, and the corsair folder in x86 program files. This does NOT bring the H80i back to working like when I first received it (and did not have CL). All this does now it just fixes the fans at like H80i 1000 rpm and it does not change with cpu temp. This is the only reason why I installed CL again to make sure it does change according to temp, but even that is failing now. Any suggestions? Nubiewon
So I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it seems to detect my hardware with nonzero values. But the H80i fans are still messed up. They are now fixed at ~1200 rpm even on a balanced profile. And it does not change, ever, even though I grouped it onto my 4670k temps which I believe should then be making it ramp up w/ increase in cpu temps. I am getting very stick of this now..nothing else to be done to get CL to work properly ever at all?
Nubiewon
Ok now it is only detecting my other stuff like case fans, gfx, etc. But for H80i stuff, it is just all zeroes again. What the hell is going on with this crappy software? PLEASE HELP ANYONE!?
Tech_Greek
I actually unplugged and plugged back in the USB connector on the pump and it detected for me while the software was running.
