cdiebold
A while back I purchesed Corsair CMX512-3200LLPRO Twin pack, Both stick detect but when ever I run a program really memory intensive with both sticks in my computer locks up on me. I tested the RAM by placing each one individualy into each slot on my mother board. In all cases with one of the RAM sticks the computer would die on me. But the other runs with no problems. So it is not the slots on my motherboard. I would like to start the RMA process so that I can get this stick replaced. Sinces it was bought as a twin pack do I have to return both sticks, hopefully not becouse then i would be out of commision for awhile. Please get back to me no this asap
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 1, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 1, 2004 Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set? And if you do send them in for replacment, I would suggest you send them as a pair to get them replaced as a pair!
