TheKDub
Today I received the Corsair 230t case that I had ordered from amazon, I assembled the other parts that had also come with it from amazon and turned it on, after about an hour I noticed that the rear exhaust fan was not spinning even though it was plugged into the sysfan1 header (I have confirmed that this header works with a fan from the front of the case) of my MSI Z97-G55 SLI motherboard, I decided to give the fan a little push to see if it just couldn't get spinning, and that seems to have been what the fan needed to get going, the only problem is that whenever the fan is stopped it cannot start spinning again by itself. I have tried plugging the fan into a different fan header and that still did not fix the issue.
srome
Send it back, Amazon has a very good returns/exchange policy (UK) create an exchange in your Amazon account and they will send you a new case without charge, you then have 30 days to send the broken case back, fail to send a case back within 30 days and they will charge your card for the new case. When you get the new case, just swap the fans over and send the new case back with the broken fan (this will save you stripping down and rebuilding your system) You could go the route of requesting a replacement fan and I'm sure Amazon would just refund you the price of a replacement fan. Why would they require me to send a new case? why not just send back the fan?
