AMDbigboy
I really didn't know where to go to get this question answered, but knew people here could help me. Ok, now that the awesome X99 motherboards have FINALLY arrived, I will probably go with the ASRock X99 Extreme6, BUT I really want the ASUS X99-e WS!!! So I noticed the ASUS is listed as a CEB form factor which I had to look up. How this pertains to Corsair is I just bought a second Obsidian Series 650D and that is what I want to use for this build. So an ATX motherboard is 12" x 9.6" and a CEB is 12" x 10.5", but I read somewhere that the holes for both form factors line up so, my question is will the ASUS X99-e WS fit my 650D??? Thanks! Ahtlon
The asus is almost a E-ATX, so it's only a few cm wider as a normal atx board, It will cover up the grommits a little bit at the side of the mainboard, but you can build a E-ATX in a 650D. AMDbigboy
Thanks for the reply. 169 views and no one else seemed to know that. Was starting to think I wasn't going to get any help here. Do you know if the holes line up the same as with the ATX motherboard? Was looking it up online, but just getting different answers.
