PrimalMH
I have the h100i and it was completely fine in my old rig but when i upgraded my graphics card from a GTX zotac AMP to a GTX TITAN BLACK EVGA edition that it changed, most of the time its fine but at rare times on boot it sets the Titan fan to remain in quiet mode(1100 RPM) this normally wouldn't be so bad but when im gaming the titan can quickly overheat when its stuck at that fan speed. I have had it happen once where my GFX card overheated causing blue screen, while the GFX card is fine i would like to avoid this in the future so any advice would be helpful. As for more information i don't think my full rig matters as it was perfectly fine before the gfx card change, This only happens sometimes on boot (atm i have it set to fixed% 90%, 4000 rpm so i can immediately tell if its glitched or not) i can fix it by switching from one option to another but this also allows the bug to happen again but not immediately. I also have the latest version of corsair link for windows 7. Sorry about this jumbled mess of a post, if you need anymore info just let me know. Thanks for reading. HOODedAssault
I'm confused. Are you talking about corsair link ? I don't see how the H100i unit could effect your gpu otherwise.
PrimalMH
Yes sorry if that wasn't clear, it basically sometimes locks the GFX card fan speed to 1000 rpm regardless of how busy it gets. I've just been keeping an eye on it so far but i didn't want to mess around too much and end up making it worse.
HOODedAssault
I believe if you setup fan profiles for the H100i the unit will actually store those profiles within. So if u make h100i profiles then Uninstall link and remove USB it should continue to use the profiles and link won't be there to interfere with your graphics card. Don't quote me on that tho as I've never used link I just hooked up mine to a fan controller when I had it. This could also be a glitch on the gfx card. May not be link causing the problem. R u sure it is link ?
PrimalMH
Pretty sure its link, though i haven't tried without so i couldn't be sure, might try some of the other settings and if that doesn't work try not using link at all.
wytnyt
it will keep its default profile for cooling,,however the curves may/may not be to preference hence the reason for the link software. if you uninstall for testing,,insure its done thoroughly and w/ a cold boot... do you have another monitoring program installed such as Aisuite?
