iRobert
From the instructions I cannot really understand. After I input the new PIN and before confirming it what should I do? If I press the key button the procedure is cleared. The problem is in step 5!!!!!???? Any suggestions? Thanks iR Manual instructions: 1. Press and release the KEY button. Both red and green LEDS will blink in unison. 2. Enter your current user PIN using the PIN keys. 3. Press and release the KEY button. Green LED will blink for 20 seconds. 4. Press and hold the KEY button for 3 seconds while green LED is blinking. Both red and green LEDs will illuminate. 5. Enter new PIN using the PIN keys. A user PIN may be 4 to 10 digits long. WHAT SHOULD I PRESS HERE BECAUSE NOTHING HAPPENS!!Both red and green LEDs will blink once and then remain lit. 6. Re-enter your new PIN to confirm. Both red and green LEDs will blink in unison. 7. Press and release KEY button. Green LED will flash.
Protocol48
I was considering buying one of these, now I don't know. How does it know when you have entered the pin the 1st time and are starting to enter the pin again? If you look at your manual, the steps when you 1st created the pin & if you want to change the Master pin, there is a " Press and release the KEY button." between each pin entry, so it might work on your step for changing the pin Let me know how it works, as I want to get one but I want know how it works before I buy it! Duckman1626864273
press and hold the Key-button at the top for 3 seconds, the Green and Red Lights will stay lit. after this enter your desired pin, from 4 to 10, once you do that push the Key-button again. after that you will see the Green and Red lights flashing, now re-enter your pin code while its flashing then hit the key again. if you did it correctly only the green light will be flashing and its ready for use. Edit: just a little more explanation, when you are setting the actual pin the lights will not flash they will just stay permanently lit until you hit the key button again. so once you have set the nomber and hit the key button again they will now both be flashing after that you then re-enter your pin and click the key-button again. if you did it correcly you should only see the green light flashing.
