sblantipodi
Hi, I would like to reduce the management software as much as I can. I like how asus motherboards manage fans, it manage them at bios level so it works outside windows too. Is it possible to let my asus manage the CPU cooler? Is there a way to use corsair link for LED illumination only? Example to change led color from blu when cold to red when hot.
Corsair Employees Fauxbeard Posted August 28, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 28, 2014 You can connect the fans to your motherboard and let the BIOS control them but as the pump is designed to spin at a static RPM, it should not be controlled. You can use the Link software to explicitly control the LED and slave it to the CPU temperature.

Speed
Once you choose/configure and set a profile, the profile is stored on the pump and the software isn't really needed, unless you want to monitor water temperature.
Corsair Employees Fauxbeard Posted August 29, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 29, 2014 Does this means that the pump works independently from the software? That's correct. The Link software will only report the RPM speed.
