Urgent Thermal Tape problem!

Howdy!

I am currently in the middle of modding my rig and have decided to go with a black and white theme. Unfortunately my Corsair RAM came with blue heatspreaders (I bought it second hand from eBay) and thus they do not match anything else. Being the kind of guy I am I just decided to take the plunge and spray paint them white.

This has gone splendidly well and two of the 4GB sticks are currently happily running my rig. What didn't go well was the paint running on one of the other two sticks as I was painting it, forcing me to clean it up and remove the heat spreader from the stick to ensure no damage had been done. Annoyingly I cannot seem to find any information regarding the thermal pad/tape stuff that Corsair use to secure the heat spreader to the module, and thus now have 1 green PCB that looks even worse than the blue heat spreader did.

What I need is help either with securing a direct replacement, for which I am quite happy to pay of course, or the specific details of the item used so that I may find a replacement from elsewhere. I really hope someone here can help me as I desperately want this build to look good, and being unable to purchase an entirely new set of RAM, this is my only option.

For karma here is my build, rather than a picture of a kitten: http://imgur.com/a/Iz0xr#0

I'm sorry but as the heat spreaders aren't meant to come off, the "thermal pad/tape stuff" is not available, nor is there public information about it.

Please note that this memory also does not have a warranty associated with it as it was bought second hand (not to mention dismantled).

I am aware that there is no warranty, hence my addition of the relevant information regarding its place of purchase. As to thermal tape not being available that is not entirely true. While Corsair themselves may not provide it, there are numerous companies who do. What I really needed to know is the thickness of the required tape. I did not think it would be classified as a company secret to allow people this kind of information.

I have heard a great many good things about Corsairs customer service from a great many system builders over the years, so this kind of blank faced response is very disheartening.
