Verxil
So i just got the 2100 in the mail today and downloaded the software while letting the headphones charge, waited for them to turn green, all the prerequisites. Finally tried them on, and they disconnect every 30 seconds. I hear sound coming out but every 10-45 seconds the sound cuts, and I notice the headphones 'looking for connection' light blinking, as well as the USB's 'looking for connection' light. It's kinda like listening to the radio while going through the woods with terrible reception. I've tried the USB plugged directly into my computer, no good. Tried directly into the motherboard, still no good. Uninstalled the software, the same, re installed it, no change. I hooked it up to my other desktop which is built from older parts and I would say it worked a tiny bit better, at least for the 5 minutes I monitored it, but still it disconnected a couple times, and I don't think the pair are meant to disconnect at all. Installing the software on my other desktop seemed to make the disconnects more frequent, but that may have been coincidence. I don't think it's the USB dongle thing, unless that plays a role in anything, as plugging the USB into the computer it's self had no difference. Help? Toasted
Do you have any wireless devices near the dongle and headset? E.g. wireless router Try the headset in a different area, does it still frequently disconnect?
Verxil
I have a wireless router right next to my main Desktop, and about 60 feet away from my other desktop. Both are still affected. I have tried disconnecting the internet entirely and using the headphones, but that doesn't work either.
Toasted
It's possible the headset or dongle may be faulty. Put in a support ticket an explain your issue. Corsair may send out a replacement dongle for you to test or replace the headset and dongle. Make sure you upload a picture of the invoice as proof of purchase.
