echo77
Got TWINX2048-3200PRO, 2 DIMMS 1 GB each, AMD Athlon 64 3400, Soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR, EVGA GF-6800GT. Problem is: Top row of LEDs (1 row of green, yellow, red) on 1 DIMM only lit 10% of the time. Once out, they stay out until reboot. Problem follows the 1 stick no matter if in DIMM slot 1 or 2. Running Doom3 sometimes has ALL 4 channels pegged. But, once top row goes out, will not come back on. Sometimes after reboot, will still not work at all. Thanks for your help! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 2, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 2, 2004 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org. And this MB is single channel so if you have more than one module it will not light up the second module untill it's in use!
echo77
Tested both sticks. Both pass. Funny thing is bad one passed twice but, on first test both rows of LEDs all on for entire test. On second test only one row on (top row all out, bottom row all on for whole test). On good stick all LEDs on for entire test. Ram seems to work but, LEDs on the one stick buggy.
