Superpatsy
There probably is a thread on this somewhere but I can't appear to find it. Purchased a new SSD so had to reinstall everything. Now since installing Windows 8.1, my keyboard's lock LED's are flashing and have no backlit LED's on the keys. It was all working fine before the reinstall. After looking online, it appears as though the keyboard is stuck in BIOS mode. I know on the K70 there is a BIOS mode switch and am wondering if there is anything similar to fix the K40? There isn't a BIOS switch and can't seem to find it in the Corsair software. Is this going to be an RMA? Thanks! :D:
Toasted
You could try a firmware reflash and see if it recovers the keyboard. If it does not work, you will need to request an RMA to replace it.

Toasted
If the keyboard is not detected in Windows and you have tried it on another computer, request an RMA to replace the keyboard.
