Grouch86
Pump, not the fans makes a growing gurgling clicking noise when I boot up the system. The sound goes away completely after about 20 seconds. My CPU seems to be cooled fine after the noise is gone, but the noise is scaring me enough to issue a RMA, should I proceed with the RMA? n7plus1
From everyone that has posted about this, including myself, it is unfortunately "normal". You can RMA it if you want, taking a chance at getting one that worse than that though...
Grouch86
Really?! That's unfortunate, thank you for the response I may still RMA it now for a refund.
n7plus1
yeah, sorry youre having that issue too. I've learned to just live with it.

This is not correct and the sound is not "normal". If you have an issue with your cooler, start a ticket and we'll replace it.
Grouch86
Since I have purchased this through newegg, is it possible to replace this through corsair directly? Or should I just RMA it through newegg? If I RMA it I will be without a computer for about 2 weeks :( Maybe I still have my stock cooler around. Yellowbeard
You can check with Newegg, I'm not familiar with their policy. If you want to RMA directly to Corsair use the support ticket link in the top red nav bar and we'll take care of you.

dburne
The only noise my H100i makes when turning the system on, is the noise of the fans running at full speed until windows starts to boot and they slow down to their normal speed.
Grouch86
Just wanted to reply saying I received another h100i and everything is working flawlessly. Temps are actually down from the one that was making the noise which leads me to believe that not only was it making noise, but the pump was also not working at 100% efficiency. All in all I am happy with the h100i, hiccups always suck but its definitely not the first time I have had to RMA something while building computers. Love my corsair PSU,750d and now my h100i. Ty corsair!
