Corsair Employees Fauxbeard Posted August 25, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 25, 2014 1. v2.7.5339 2. Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit 3. H80i fans cannot be fixed and do not show up. 4. Corsair Link does say that the H80i is connected under Options and then devices (Picture 1). However, under the system and groups tabs, the H80i fans and pumps cannot be found (Picture 2) even with the "Show All Devices" box checked off. I have tried disabling the "Legacy USB" to no avail. Also, I don't have the "Power" tab that others seem to have, I'm assuming that that's for people with the commander unit. Fan speeds don't seem to increase at all (based on not audible increase in fans) and higher CPU temp readings when playing a game or using an intensive program. Uninstall AI Suite if installed on your system and check if Link detects your H80i. The "Power" tab will be visible and accessible if a Link-ready power supply is connected (AXi, HXi, RM). Corsair Employees Fauxbeard Posted August 25, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 25, 2014 1. 2.7.5339 2. Microsoft Windows 8.1 64 bit 3. H100i fans and pump not detected 4. Corsair Link does not detect H100i. It recognizes all devices of my PC (like motheboard, CPU, GPU...), but not my Corsair H100i. How can I solve my problem? I tried to uninstall Corsair Link and reinstall it (having care of deleting the "Devices" key from Windows registry). Please update your profile with your system specs. A few things to try: 1. connect H100i to a different USB 2.0 header 2. connect H100i to an external USB port using a mini USB-B to USB-A cable 3. If you have an Asus board and AI suite is installed, uninstall it 4. If you have a Z87 board, disabled "Legacy USB" in your BIOS

doomded
1)2.7.5339 2)Windows 7 64-bit 3)Commander mini temperature sensors not responding 4)It registers and allows me to control all 6 fans and the LED channel, as well as the lighting node, the AX1200i and the H100i/fans I have connected through the mini, but the software only shows the 4th temp sensor and it always reads 0.0C 5)Groups page and devices page attached. Edit: And somehow most of the PCIe connections on the Ax1200i ended up in multi-rail mode. (all set at 30) I'm not sure if this was done automatically by the software for some reason or not, but I definitely did not do it.

Cricked
Perhaps, but Norton thinks that this binary was doing suspicious things. I was taken to http://www.symAntec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2014-011016-0119-99 for an explanation Reinstall corsair link then run the program before you reboot. Add the two corsair link.exe files as exceptions in sonar and scanning. In addition trust both files and the norton issues go away. I had the problem and it's fully resolved now. Corsair H100i My only problems with this Link version:- Corsair link does detect my HDD/SSD sensors, but does not update/ refreshes, so temp value stays on first reading (at boot). gr8sho
Oddly enough, I've lost the LEDs on the Corsair waterblock (H100i). I may use this excuse to uninstall 2.6 and move to 2.7, although frankly I don't relish the idea of re-customizing the fan curves. Has anyone observed this loss of LED display issue recently? I'm trying to retrace my steps to determine what change may have disturbed the system. What I see now on start is Blue LEDs and then they shut off altogether. Either HDTune Pro or Aquasuite must have interfered with CL. I uninstalled both and now have control of the LEDs again.
klosz007
1. v2.7.5339 2. Windows 7 x64 Professional SP1 3. Issues: - Start with Windows option doesn't work - I have to start Corsair Link manually after each reboot. Initially autostart worked fine, then it broke unexpectedly and starts automatically no more. - Annoying tooltip message in the tray that it is running in the background everytime it starts (can be hidden by Icon and Notification settings of taskbar but this will hide all possible notifications from this app). - detects AX860i and H100i fine, unsure if it has issues with fan detection on H100i (some users reported such issue) as all my fans (including those on H100i) are connected to motherboard - detects only a portion of fans on my ASUS Rampage IV Extreme. It looks like it is able to detect fans attached to Nuvoton NCT6776F chip only but not those connected/managed by ASUS EC chip (names given as per HWInfo). Possible collision with AISuite (I have it still installed) - sometimes crashes on exit It's better then older versions of Corsair Link but still far from perfect. I am considerning Corsair Commander Mini but Corsair has to fix Link software first...
Shayne
8/18/2014 - Corsair Link Software Update Release Candidate Version 2.7.5339 Change Log 1. Fan control on H80i/H100i works on all selectable options. 2. CPU usage over time addressed for all platforms. 3. Logging on multiple devices at once enhanced. 4. H80i/H100i detection issues on some platforms running Win 8/8.1. 5. Boot up .Net framework error addressed. 6. Start minimized option setting retained after restart. 7. Maximum Celsius degree for “custom curve” has been changed to 90c. Known Issues 1. LED saved settings not persistent after restart if two of the colors are set to 0 (255, 0,0) New firmware revision to address issues will be available in a 2.8 release. 2. On certain Intel motherboards (Z87/Z97) that use the Intel USB 3.0 drivers it is necessary to change the “Legacy USB Support” to Disabled in BIOS for detection of the H80i/H100i/Commander units. 3. SLI GPU setups are only detecting one GPU at this time. I would like to say thank you to Corsair for the latest release, much more professional and informative. Now we wait for a new firmware for the LED fix. Cheers
clubfoot
1. v2.7.5339 2. Win 7 64bit Ultimate 3. Icons do not resize with screen changes. axiun
1. v2.7.5339 2. Win 8.1 pro 3. AX1500i and h100i are connected to the mini. The mini will see the h100i only on the FIRST install of the link software. If I reboot, mini loses the ability to detect the fans/probes/pump connected to the h100i. Link software has to be reinstalled and registry has to be completely cleaned in order for the mini to detect the h100i. This happens every single time the system is restarted. 4. Link working after the FIRST install. http://i.imgur.com/vHUMtGOl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/hE6t56el.jpg Link doesnt detect the H100i connected to the mini on subsequent reboots. http://i.imgur.com/iPG3gMOl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/YW8BdqHl.jpg
doomded
1)v2.7.5339 2)Win7SP1 64-bit 3)Issues between the H100i and the Commander Mini, not sure if they're software-, firmware-, or hardware-related 4)Well, I started off basically in the same boat as LeRoy3rd (Tried to update firmware automatically and the Mini ended up with the firmware from the H100i) and I managed to fix that and things were good for a couple days. Then one time I restarted the computer and couldn't get readings from anything on Corsair Link. It still had all my MoBo readings and it even somehow kept the fan profiles on something that was at least similar to my custom curve. I have wasted more than a couple hours over the last 2 days trying various connectors/combinations and all the Corsair Link stuff I have (Ax1200i, lighting node) works fine as long as the H100i isn't plugged into the Mini or the MoBo. schmosef
1) v2.7.5.339 2) Corsair H80i (firmware 1.0.7) 2) Windows 8.1 64bit 3) Intel i7 4790K @ 4Ghz 4) Asus Z97-A (bios: 1304) The CorsairLink software's CPU usage is higher than I would like: between 5% and 9%. I don't have logging turned on and I'm not doing anything with the LED colour. I even have the LED device hidden in CorsairLink. Is there a configuration change (or maybe a registry change) I can make to reduce the CPU usage? Do I even need to be running the CorsairLink software? Will the H80i work properly without it?
