A rant from a very frustrated customer

I literally just made this account so I can rant about how ****ty this product is. I got the Vengeance 2000 for my birthday in April. Since then, I have had countless problems. The first time I used it, there was this horrible static/crackling sound when the boom is lowered. The noise is still there even when my sound is muted. I eventually fixed it, but have no clue how I did. It still comes back every once a while and I have no clue why. I thought I fixed it by updating the Corsair Headset software, but apparently not because..

A week ago I noticed that the Corsair Headset software won't open. Everything was fine with the mic however so I didn't do anything about it. I didn't use it for a week because of school, and just tried using it today. The same crackling/static noise is back, again. It wouldn't let me uninstall the Corsair Headset software in the control panel, so I download a Windows utility that forcefully removed it. I deleted everything Corsair related, restarted my computer, and tried downloading the latest version again. The install "worked", however it still does not open.

This headset has caused me so much stress and time, it really just makes me want to throw it away. I have seen countless other people experience the same problem but are simply ignored by the company. I could ask for an RMA (which I see they do a lot for this problem) but I have since broken the side of my high-grade plastic POS. Repaired with ducktape of course, but it doesn't ****ing matter because I can't talk to anyone. I have bought Corsair products before and have had zero problems, in fact I am using a k70 to type this right now. After my experience with this headset however, I can guarantee that I will not be buying anymore.

I have zero sympathy for you since you didnt contact the helpdesk once. Obviously you're incapable of fixing the problem yourself and you never looked for any help so you blame the company for your own issues. Makes sense.
