K50 Keyboard - Backlight not switching with program

Hi, I've downloaded the latest software/fireware for my K50 keyboard, set up different profiles and changed the colour for each profile.

 

But while the backlights change when I click on them within the K50 software, and the auto profile switching works when I click on the different programs, the backlights don't change automatically when I switch to the different programs.

 

Am I doing something wrong or is this not a feature currently available? I'd love to see it as the programs I use (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.) would really benefit from an auto-switch of colour.
